“We don’t meet people by accident. They were meant to cross our path for a reason”.
This is the quote we have currently have as our profile picture on our Facebook page. I have truly believed this my whole life. Sometimes we never realize it until later in life and sometimes, we recognize it right away. This is the case with Crystal and Gloria from Florida; Mother and Daughter that were not only here for a few days to celebrate Mothers Day, but to also put a dear friend to rest who was originally from Oshkosh. She had told them stories about Oshkosh, Lake Winnebago, the Pioneer, The Boys and Girls and Club and all the wonderful people that were associated with Oshkosh. Crystal and Gloria had promised her that they would bring her back and witness all the glorious things she had told them about the city.
These two had set out everyday to visit the places their friend had told them about, where she had lived, worked and meet the people of Oshkosh. Now obviously, people have come and gone, but I was told that everyone was just as gracious to these two out-of-towners as their friend had told them we would be.
Not only had Oshkosh made an impact on their lives, they also made an impact on mine. I have been practicing yoga for quite some time, but have only been recently teaching for the past year. I have seen and felt first hand the power of crystals. I am also a firm believer in Young Living Essential oils and use them along with a technique called Indianhead massage in all my classes. During breakfast on their last day here, I found out that Crystal and I have a lot in common, but it wasn’t until I talked to her more, that things started to fall into place about my future and where I can see it taking me.
I share this with you, as sometimes we may not know where our life will take us until we are presented with something that was already there all along. I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to meet people like Crystal and Gloria that I would probably never get a chance to cross paths with. Crystal and Gloria, I will miss your cheerfulness, insightfulness and generosity. Until next time-
