Race the Lake 2018Race the Lake 2018 is the 11th annual return of the popular bike race around majestic Lake Winnebago. August 26, 2018.

Race the Lake is an annual bike race that, despite it’s 88-mile length, attracts bicyclists of all skill levels, pro to beginner. Past year’s courses have even reached lengths of 100 miles. Much of the attraction can be attributed to the beautiful scenery found along the shores of Lake Winnebago.

The race starts in Fond du Lac and heads north along the west side of Lake Winnebago, running through Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, and Appleton. The course then takes the riders through Calumetville, Marytown, and St. Peter, to finish up at Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park.
