The arrival of spring means it is time to dust off those winter doldrums and head out into the sunshine! The Oshkosh Marathon and many other athletic events make April a very active month here in Oshkosh.
While there’s always something to do in Oshkosh, no matter the season, the warmth of spring definitely loosens up those joints and gets the blood flowing. People are tired of being boxed up in their homes and there is an explosion of activity.
So much so that there isn’t enough space to list everything happening in April. Instead, we’ve focused on four of the bigger athletic events of the month. They include the Oshkosh Marathon, the NPC Fox Cities Showdown bodybuilding competition, the Special Olympics Indoor Sports Basketball Tournament, and the Run Away To the Bay relay race.
