The 5th Annual Oshkosh St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party

2017 St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Tent PartyUnfortunately, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party has been canceled for this year.
There’s still plenty to do in Oshkosh, however!

Get ready for the wearing of the green! The 5th annual Oshkosh St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party, held in downtown Oshkosh, is almost here. Saturday, March 18th, 2017, beginning at 1pm.

Oshkosh knows how to throw a party – the kind that welcomes everyone – and St. Patty’s Day is no exception! Oshkosh’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party is held each year in downtown Oshkosh. 2017 marks the 5th year of this popular event. The parade and party are bound to be bigger and better than ever!

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at 2pm. It starts off from Ceape Avenue,  travels North up Main Street, and ends at Irving Avenue. This is one parade you don’t want to miss. Bagpipers, floats, vintage vehicles, horses, bands, and more will all be on tap. After the parade, you’ll want to be sure to head to the St. Patrick’s Day Tent Party!

The Oshkosh St. Patrick’s Day Tent Party, located downtown on the 500 block of Oshkosh’s North Main Street, opens at 1pm and continues on until 10pm. This giant, heated tent is the place to be with food, drink, children’s activities, and much more to entertain you. Did we mention the music?

Irish bands, Irish dancers, and others will be performing inside the tent throughout the day. There will be Irish Dancing performances by Richard’s School of the Dance, Kinsella Academy of Irish Dance, bagpipers, and other live entertainment.

Other attractions inside the tent include fundraising raffles, a silent auction, and the opportunity to add your name to Irish Fest’s Welcome or “Fáilte” Door with a tax-deductible donation. There will also be contests for the children with the “Most Freckled Face” and “Reddest Hair”. So go ahead – come on out to Oshkosh for the wearing of the green!
