Finally, garden is completed!

I feel like I am behind this year, and with all this early warm weather, you wouldn’t think I would be. Needless to say though, I am.  The garden is now weeded, new mulch laid down, flower pots galore surround the inn and new flowers and hostas are filling us the garden. Things are looking pretty good though I have to say. Now, its just keeping up with all the watering and weed pulling throughout the summer. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining one little bit. I love this time of year and wish it would last longer than it does.

Oshkosh has so many great things that are coming up this summer and my future blogs in the upcoming weeks will be filled with things to do, places to go and people to see.  A little insight is Irish Fest,  Saturday Farmers Market, graduation ( my daughter enters  high school…sigh…, waterfest, festivals, etc etc etc. You’ll have to check back for everything that is going on. Enjoy Summer!

Spring in the garden

May 26, 2010 by braytonbb

Some pics of the garden in full bloom. The earliest ever I think!

Petuna planter is coming along nicely. Soon they will be overflowing.

Hanging baskets are filled with petunas and getting a lot of sunshine.

This is my favorite hosta. Strip tease I think is what it is called.

Favorite little shady area in the garden with ferns and astilbes.

Hosta garden too.

Mini lilac bush. Yeh, right!
